Web Design in Denton, Texas

New Journey Designs is a Denton studio. Cactus Paint Co. is a Denton painting company. We built their website, and their founder put his name to what he thought of the work — which is the only kind of proof worth putting on a page like this.

Where we are

Denton is the address, not the service area.

Plenty of studios will list Denton on a page like this one. We work out of it. The design and the code both happen here, so when a business in this city hires us, getting to you is a short drive rather than an expedition across the Metroplex. There’s no storefront to walk into — we’d rather say that than invent one — so we meet at your place, or somewhere near the square, whichever is easier on the day.

After that, how we stay in touch is your call and not ours. In person if you want a face across the table. A Zoom when the afternoon is tight, or a phone call at seven on a Friday because a price changed and you’d like it right before the weekend. We’re not precious about the channel. The part that matters is that we’re here, and that you can get hold of us.

Built here

A brand that lived on a truck door, finally at full size.

Cactus Paint Co. is locally owned, family-run, and led by an owner whose whole standard comes down to doing the prep nobody will ever see. They came to us with something most local trades never get around to — a genuinely beautiful brand, already finished, already good — and nowhere for any of it to land. A brand that lives on a truck door and a yard sign is a brand nobody meets until after they’ve already decided who to call.

So we didn’t bring a look to the project. We took theirs and extended it into a medium it had never lived in. Then the words, worked until they answered what a homeowner is actually nervous about rather than listing credentials. Interior and exterior got pages of their own, because somebody searching for one shouldn’t have to read a paragraph about the other. The towns they cover are named in the footer — Denton, Argyle, Corinth, Flower Mound, Lake Dallas, Lewisville — since “do you even come out here?” quietly ends a lot of visits. And the estimate request was connected to the software the crew already runs on, so a Friday-night enquiry is worked rather than left sitting. Start to launched took a handful of meetings.

What a Denton client said

“Working with Trip was one of the best decisions we made for Cactus Paint Co. He took the time to understand our vision, communicated clearly throughout the process, and delivered a website we’re genuinely proud of. If you’re looking for someone who cares about both great design and a great client experience, I couldn’t recommend him more.”

Why Denton is different

A town with a good eye and an audience that keeps changing.

Two state universities sit inside the city limits. The courthouse square still has independent shops and record stores on it, the music scene draws people in from out of town, and there is an unusual density of businesses that somebody actually designed — the roaster, the venue, the bookshop, the studio, the trades company whose owner cares what the truck looks like. It also means an audience with a good eye, because a fair number of them work in this stuff for a living. A stock template isn’t invisible here. It reads as out of step with the place.

The other half is who’s doing the looking. A university town gains people every single year who have no idea who’s any good here, no neighbour to ask yet, and one habit for finding out — they search, or they ask an assistant that answers out of whatever it can read. Word of mouth is still the best thing you own. It just doesn’t reach the person who moved in three weeks ago.

Which is the whole case for building the site properly rather than putting something up. To the customer who already knows you, a thin website is a shrug. To the one deciding between you and two names they found the same afternoon, it’s the entire impression.

How it goes

Three steps, and the first one is us coming to you.

We come and look

A conversation about the business, the customers, and where you want it to go. For a shop, a venue, or a crew that’s worth doing in person, and here it costs us twenty minutes rather than an afternoon.

We design and build

Message first, then the site, hand-written and quick. The same two people carry it from the first sketch to the last deploy, so nothing waits on a hand-off and nothing gets lost in one.

Launch, and stay reachable

It goes live on accounts in your name, and when a price, a photo, or a whole season needs changing there’s somebody in town to tell.

What it costs

Two numbers, both published.

A one-page site is $1,200 flat, and it usually goes live about a week after your copy and photos land with us. A full multi-page website starts at $4,500; most land between $4,500 and $8,000, and that upper half is where the messaging session and the room to explain several services live. Half the fee up front, half on launch day, and no work begins until the scope is in writing.

Care plans afterwards run $29, $99, or $299 a month, and the middle two come free for your first three months on a site we build. Hosting, your domain, and Google Workspace sit in your own name, billed to you by the companies providing them — so nothing of yours lives in our account, and leaving costs you no migration at all. Things Denton owners ask us.

Are you actually in Denton, or is this a page with our city’s name typed into it?

We work out of Denton. There’s no storefront to visit, but the studio is here rather than in another city with a service-area list. The proof isn’t this page — it’s Cactus Paint Co., a family-run painting company here whose messaging, multi-page site, lead capture, and estimate tooling we built. The case study walks through every decision.

We’re two people and a good idea. Is $1,200 or $4,500 right for us?

Usually the $1,200 one-page site, and we’ll say so even though it’s the smaller project. Move up when you serve genuinely different audiences or have services that each deserve a page — and if you outgrow the small one inside twelve months, the full $1,200 comes off the bigger build.

Our logo was made by a friend. Do we have to rebrand first?

No, and often you shouldn’t. When an identity already works, the job is restraint — we extend what exists rather than redecorating it. Cactus arrived with a mark and a palette we didn’t touch. If the identity genuinely is the problem, branding is separate work, priced separately.

Would a good Instagram do instead of a website?

It will do a lot, and plenty of Denton businesses run mostly on one. What it won’t do is show up when someone searches for what you sell, get quoted by an AI assistant, or belong to you. A profile is rented space with reach somebody else controls.

How fast does a Denton project go?

A one-page site is usually live within a week of kickoff; a full website runs two to four weeks. Cactus went start to launched in a handful of meetings. The limit is almost never us — it’s how quickly copy, photos, and decisions come back.
